shaping the urban space
The daily observer or inhabitant of the sector in his movement through the STUDYED AREA coexists in highly dense spaces that generate small neighborhoods, without achieving an understanding of the totality of their surroundings, in addition to positioning themselves as transition areas to CONSOLIDATED sectors or neighborhoods. This FRAGMENTATION prevents the generation of COMMUNITY or IDENTITY with the PLACE, which translates into the ABANDONMENT OF THE PUBLIC SPACE.
BUSTAMANTE PARK is recognized as an articulating and integrating axis that decompresses the different surrounding neighborhoods. The extension granted by the park, facing a large area of space allows the user to KNOW their environment, identify and RE-RECOGNIZE themselves in it and those who live in this sector.
It is proposed then to generate a break in the horizontality of the sector and raise it, so that in this way it is possible to have a vision of amplitude and contemplation of the space, this allows to recognize it and make it one's own, generating COMMUNITY.
